"Music industry is not only an important support for the construction of the western literary creation center, but also a key area for the construction of the modern literary creation industry system." Zhang Zhenghong, deputy mayor of Chengdu Municipal People's Government, introduced that Chengdu is striving to promote the transformation and upgrading of Chengdu's music industry and build a modern music industry chain towards the goal of building a "capital of Chinese music and a famous international music city".

It is understood that the exhibition covers an area of more than 30,000 square meters, including a lighting hall, a sound hall and a music complex. Nearly 300 exhibitors from Internet music, music education, musical instruments, audio, lighting and related enterprises of peripheral products at home and abroad gathered together.

It is reported that the first Chengdu International Music (Performing Arts) Facilities and Equipment Exposition in 2017 was co-sponsored by Chengdu Cultural Radio and Television Press and Publishing Bureau, Chengdu Music Industry Promotion Office and Guangdong Performing Equipment Industry Chamber of Commerce. It is planned to be held once a year for five years.

"This Expo brings together many excellent enterprises and institutions at home and abroad, such as music lighting, sound, musical instruments and music education, and establishes an important platform for communication and cooperation in the music industry." In addition, on September 20, the Chengdu Music and Culture Industry Fund was established and signed in Chengdu.
