Li Yundi graduated from Sichuan Conservatory of Music and has won numerous awards over the years. At the age of 18, he won the championship of Chopin International Piano Competition for 15 years. He was the first Chinese pianist to sign a contract with Deutsche Gramophone Company and the first Chinese pianist to record a Yuberlin Philharmonic Live Concert.
