Two years ago, Xiao Ying found Cui Bingyuan and expressed his intention to show Chengdu with his symphony. "At first, it was only the intention. Xiao accompanied me to some places. Later, it became more and more clear that the Chengdu Orchestra should have its own works and use Symphony language to express, reflect and display Chengdu's culture, history and so on." In Cui Bingyuan's impression, it is the first time that a large-scale and comprehensive presentation of all aspects of Chengdu has been made by means of symphony. "After two years of collecting wind, Teacher Cui came four or five times, went to Xiling Snow Mountain, Dujiangyan and other places, and took root completely." As for the greatest difficulty in creation, Cui Bingyuan said frankly that he was overcoming himself. "Among them, there are many core materials and music programs, which I am not satisfied with. Although it's too early to talk about the results, I'm confident that as the author, I can do such a thing for Chengdu, and I'm very gratified.
