When it comes to Canon, we are most familiar with the German composer John Pahbel's Canon in D Major. On October 2, at 7:30 p.m., the Philharmonic Light Music Troupe staged the "Canon In D" Eternal Classic Concert at Trenso Concert Hall.

Canon in D Major, originally known as Canon and Gigg in D Major, is Pakhbel's most famous work. Canon is not the title of the song, but a musical form, literally meaning "round singing" and Gigue is the meaning of dance music. Canon in D Major, written by Pachelbel around 1680, is a Baroque musical work. The original version is played by three violins, accompanied by the harpsichord, Cello and lute. As a Philharmonic music troupe founded in 2015, its purpose is to bring people "affordable and understandable" concerts. Therefore, the original Orchestra set up under the banner of a professional performing agency must also break the inherent impression that classical music is high and few. "What we need to do is to have a certain level of popular favorite and durable music." Song Jianping, the orchestra music producer, told reporters.

Therefore, in the performance on October 2, there are not only classical songs familiar to everyone, but also themes adapted from the film "Schindler List" and "If Love Is God's Will". They play in an unconventional and youthful way. "Canon is our new theme concert last year. It contains original music from our band's debut album this year, and three different versions of Canon. As the chief violin player, she quickly adapted to such a brand-new orchestra, which spanned classical and popular music and integrated tradition and fashion. "There are also our original works at the concert, of which my own favorite is Tomorrow. The tacit dialogue between the melodious sound of the violin and the piano made me very addicted.
