According to the reporter from the 24th Chengdu International Music Season Organizing Committee, during the period from September 25 to November 9, there will be no less than 100 groups of independent musicians from all over the country on the streets of Chengdu, launching a "hundred regiments war" and selecting excellent musicians through the way of PK promotion.

In addition to the promotion of independent musicians in street performances, "street artists" will also be one of the highlights of this music season. After many performances, the organizers will hold small-scale activities such as street performers'performances, artists' PK, flash and so on in the streets with Chengdu characteristics and strong music culture atmosphere, and invite well-known domestic music brokerage companies to watch on-site.

Three major thematic performances, an average of 4 performances per day

During the music season, three major thematic exhibitions came in turn. In a month and a half, 160 thematic performances will be presented to the people of Chengcheng, "National Music Week" and a large-scale concert with the theme of the full version of the handed-down masterpiece Dream of Red Mansions. Wu Bixia, a famous lyric soprano singer, will join hands with Wang Liping, a famous composer and music writer of A Dream of Red Mansions, to bring a feast of traditional classical music to the audience.

On the afternoon of June 28, a press conference was held for the 24th Chengdu International Music Season, which will be played in Chengdu from September 25 to November 9, 2018.
