The History of Chengdu innovatively demonstrates the cultural connotations of Chengdu in form of dance and through such elements as music, dance, scene and costumes. The performance will be divided into two pieces to narrate the history of Chengdu. The first piece Colorful Ages includes five parts: Solar Divine Bird, Chengdu Teahouse, Chengdu Palace Dance Music, Comedian Dance Figure and Huanhuaxi which are used to showcase Chengdu’s long history, profound culture and folk customs. The second piece Splendid Present manifests Chengdu’s fashion, tolerance, innovation and creation through five chapters including Blooming Lotus, National Treasure Panda, Shadow Dance, Prosperous Chengdu and Heroic Bearing.
