On July 10, President Xi Jinping officially launched the 4th Arab Art Festival at the opening ceremony of the 8th Ministerial Meeting of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum. This press conference is an important activity to implement the spirit of President Xi's important speech, promote the "Arab Art Festival" and expand its influence.

Yu Jian introduced that this "Arab Art Festival" will hold more than 20 cultural exchanges with the theme of "Silk Road Connected and People's Heart Connected". Among them, 18 key and supporting events were held in Chengdu, including China-Arab Cultural Ministers Forum, China-Arab Urban Culture and Tourism Forum, the 10th Anniversary Exhibition of Visiting China by Famous Chinese-Arab Artists, and the Silk Road Flower-Arabic Literature and Art Exhibition. The latest achievements of exchanges and cooperation under the framework of "Road" cultural cooperation will further promote the development of Sino-Arab cultural relations.

Anwar said that the Arabia countries, including Bahrain, highly appreciated and actively supported the "one belt and one way" initiative. Under this framework, we would like to continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China in the political, economic, cultural and tourism fields, and actively promote the construction of Sino Arab common destiny community. Anwar expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the previous Arab Art Festivals jointly organized by China and Arab countries, thanked China for its efforts in the preparatory process of the current Arab Art Festival, and looked forward to the success of the festival.

Shi Jiang introduced the exchanges and cooperation between Chengdu and Arabia countries in various fields in recent years, and indicated that they will continue to carry forward the spiritual characteristics of Tianfu culture, such as "creative creation, elegant fashion, optimistic tolerance and friendly commonweal", which will contribute to the promotion of "one belt and one road" and the realization of "common people's hearts".

After the press conference, the guests attended the opening ceremony of Chengdu Station of "Arab Fashion Show", "Arab Food Festival" and "Tenth Anniversary Exhibition of Visiting China by Famous Arab Artists".
