On the evening of November 7, the concert of "Poetry and Elegant Music" of Chengdu International Music Season in the Autumn of Chengdu in 2017 was held in the Grand Concert Hall of Sichuan Conservatory of Music. Teachers and students from Sichuan Conservatory of Music jointly joined the Langyi Chamber Music Choir and the Langyi Children's Voice Choir to bring classical poetry and songs such as Chunxiao, Langtaosha, Tiaoxiao, Snowscape and Partridge Sky to the people of Chengcheng. Chinese culture has been in the habit of matching poetry and music since ancient times. Poetry can be recited with a long intonation. Music adds endless charm to the artistic conception of poetry. The same is true of last night's concert. It sings out the aesthetic feeling of classical poetry through wonderful music. It is worth mentioning that last night's concert was directed by Professor Zhou Xiaotian, Professor of Wenxin College of Sichuan University and poetry winner of Lu Xun Literature Award. His interpretation of ancient poetry made the audience feel the artistic conception of poetry.

Chinese classical poetry has always been inseparable from music. Reading is intonated and has a strong musicality. Last night's concert will recite the poems, use the ancient Chinese mode system, with Chinese musical instruments, and use music to render the mood of the poems. Whether it is the children's chorus "Chunxiao", "Luchai", "Mr. Shuhuyin's Wall" brought by the percussion of Pipa or "Qing Ci Yi Yi Zao Er" (Erhu, Pipa and Sanxian), the first work not only has the aesthetic feeling of classical poetry, but also the singer's performance has the style of singing classical poetry from time to time, which is also integrated into it. Local opera has different vocal methods, in which the transformation is as free as running clouds and running water. The unique impact brought by it has deeply infected the audience.

Among them, Babujiao and Partridge Sky, which are sung by the Yue Chamber Music Choir, are directly used to express the meaning the author wants to express by music, and through the form of music, to express the cultural connotation and melody of classical poetry, so as to explore the origin of our music culture.
