Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding imitates the wild ecological environment of giant panda to build an ecological environment which is suitable for the living of giant panda and other rare wild animals. All the year round, the base raises more than 20 giant pandas and rare animals such as lesser pandas, black-necked cranes and white storks. Besides, the base has built scientific research building, open laboratory, veterinary hospital, animal house, activity field for giant panda, swan lake, giant panda museum and comprehensive service department, etc. Therefore, it has created an ecological environment which has verdant trees, birds’ twitter and fragrance of flowers, natural scenery and beautiful artificial landscape, and that’s suitable for reproduction of giant pandas and multiple rare wild animals.
